3-in-1 percentage calculator

Clacify's Percentage Calculator handles three common percentage problems: (1) What is X% of Y? — for calculating discounts, tips, or commissions; (2) X is what % of Y? — for comparing scores, marks, or proportions; and (3) Percentage change — to find the increase or decrease between two values. This covers the most frequent real-world uses: calculating sale discounts, exam percentages, GST amounts, salary hikes, profit margins, and more. All calculations are instant and run locally in your browser.
For "what is X% of Y": multiply Y by X and divide by 100. Example: 18% of ₹500 = 500 × 18 ÷ 100 = ₹90. For "X is what % of Y": divide X by Y and multiply by 100. Example: 45 out of 60 marks = (45 ÷ 60) × 100 = 75%. For percentage change: [(New − Old) ÷ Old] × 100.
Percentage = (Marks Obtained ÷ Total Marks) × 100. For example, if you scored 425 out of 500 in board exams, your percentage is (425 ÷ 500) × 100 = 85%.
