Clacify's Image Converter converts images between JPEG (.jpg), PNG (.png), and WebP (.webp) formats in your browser. JPEG is best for photographs (smaller size, slight quality loss). PNG is best for graphics with transparency or text (lossless, larger size). WebP is the modern format offering the best balance of quality and file size for web use. Adjust JPEG quality (1–100%) and download the converted image.
JPEG: photographs, images without transparency, social media uploads — smaller file size at slightly reduced quality. PNG: logos, screenshots, graphics with transparent backgrounds — lossless quality but larger files. WebP: web images (replaces both JPEG and PNG) — 25–35% smaller than JPEG at equivalent quality, supports transparency, supported by all modern browsers.
Upload your PNG to Clacify's Image Converter, select JPEG as the output format, adjust quality (80–90% is a good balance of size and quality), and click Convert. Download the JPEG file — the transparent background becomes white (since JPEG doesn't support transparency).
