Merge PDF combines several PDF files into one document, right in your browser. Add the PDFs you want to join, drag them into the order you need, and download a single merged file — no upload, no waiting in a queue, no watermark. This is one of the most common office tasks: stitching together a covering letter and a resume, combining scanned pages of a contract, or assembling separate chapters into one report. Because everything is processed locally, even confidential financial or legal PDFs stay completely private on your device, unlike most online merge tools that upload your files to their servers.
The tool loads each selected PDF into browser memory and uses a client-side PDF library (pdf-lib) to copy every page from each source document, in your chosen file order, into a single new PDF. Page content, fonts, and embedded images are carried over intact because pages are copied at the object level rather than re-rendered. Once all pages are appended, the combined document is serialised to bytes and delivered as a download. No server is involved at any stage, so your documents never leave your computer.
