MP3 Cutter lets you trim and cut audio files online — free, in your browser. Load an MP3 (or other audio), select the start and end of the segment you want on the waveform, preview it, and download just that part. It's perfect for making ringtones, trimming silence, cutting a clip from a song or podcast, or grabbing a sound bite. Because the audio is processed locally, your files are never uploaded to a server — fast, private, and with no quality-destroying round trip.
The audio file is decoded in the browser using the Web Audio API into raw audio samples. When you select a start and end point, the tool extracts that range of samples and encodes them back into a downloadable audio file. Because decoding, trimming, and encoding all happen locally in your browser, the file never leaves your device and there is no upload/download round trip.
Upload your MP3 to Clacify's Audio Cutter. A waveform shows the audio. Drag the start and end handles to mark the section you want to keep, or type exact timestamps. Preview the selection — if it sounds right, click Download. The trimmed audio saves to your device in the same format.
Upload your song (MP3 or M4A) to Clacify's Audio Cutter. Find the chorus or melody section you want as your ringtone (typically 20–30 seconds). Set the start and end points, preview, and download. Transfer the trimmed MP3 to your phone — on Android, move it to the Ringtones folder; on iPhone, use GarageBand or iTunes to set it as a ringtone.
