Clacify's Image Resizer lets you resize any JPEG, PNG, or WebP image to exact pixel dimensions entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server. Set a specific width and height, or lock the aspect ratio to resize proportionally without distortion. The resized image downloads instantly at the quality you choose. Ideal for resizing photos for WhatsApp DP (512×512), LinkedIn banner (1584×396), passport-size prints, website thumbnails, or social media post requirements. Because resizing happens client-side, your photos remain completely private.
Clacify's Image Resizer lets you reduce dimensions (e.g., 1920px → 800px) and adjust JPEG quality (1–100) to control file size. Reducing width/height and lowering quality from 100 to 80 typically cuts file size by 60–80%. For strict KB targets (e.g., passport photo under 100KB), start at quality 70 and adjust until the downloaded file meets the requirement.
Reducing image dimensions always involves some quality trade-off — you are removing pixels. To minimise quality loss: (1) use PNG format for images with text or sharp edges, (2) use JPEG at quality 85–95 for photos, (3) avoid enlarging images (upscaling adds no real detail).
